Evening Benediction | Wooden Ornament & Magnet

Let the light come quietly home.

Evening Benediction brings an original South Louisiana twilight photograph to natural wood. On the front, the photograph is cropped, reflected, and repeated into four windowlike panes. Fine boundaries of exposed wood mark where the reflections meet, while the golden Hearth Flame rests at their center—the horizon remaining steady as the path bends through the light.

On the reverse, a simplified wood-burn-inspired drawing gathers the scene into its essential forms: a quiet woodland horizon beneath the words “let the light come quietly home.”

The two-sided oval wooden ornament is finished with a red hanging ribbon. A magnet on the back gives it a second life beyond the tree—display it on a refrigerator, filing cabinet, or another magnetic surface throughout the year.

Natural variations in wood grain and knots make every piece quietly distinct.

The original photograph remains untouched. Crop, reflect, repeat reveals its hidden pattern. The reverse is a simplified drawing inspired by the photograph’s essential forms.
